The Person

It was on a mid-February walk through the woods in 1994, Shaun was reminiscing on simpler times - catching frogs and racing stick boats with his late-brother Ryan. That moment “Forrest Stumps” was born and Shaun began his quest “to share the beauty of nature with those that may have forgotten”.  What began as a short walk became a life-long journey - bringing peace and sanctuary to millions of birds, frogs, dogs, and people like you, throughout the Pacific Northwest.

 Drawing upon a unique combination of creativity, engineering & ecology, every installation is customized to the settings & needs of clients using plants and materials native to the PNW.  Products are designed to be beautiful with soothing sounds providing moments to escape & experience nature in your own yard.  They are also engineered & built to last using quality parts & supplies with minimal maintenance required.

Once he has a feel for your needs & priorities - whether it's covering road noise, attracting birds & frogs, increasing property value, or creating a personal retreat - he'll put together a detailed proposal with a video simulation for your consideration. While not a big paper-work guy, Shaun values clear communication & shared expectations. Once a proposal is accepted, an agreement will be made and work can be scheduled.
